we bought the house last summer so we've never actually experienced our new home in the spring -- and let me tell you, it's something magical. although, the mere thought of it makes me incredibly sad but, one day, when we're ready to grow into something bigger, we have to make sure we sell the house in the springtime because the garden is immaculate! we have things blooming and i don't even know what they're called. i'm insanely terrible with flowers. my garden vocabulary consists of roses, daisies and tulips. anything beyond that and i'm completely lost. when people come over and ask me what kind of flower a certain bush is i say, "oh, that's just a {insert made up flower name here}" one day i'll figure it all out :)
